ICMR started another test for corona virus that is Rapid Antibody Test. It is even fast and easy than other molecule tests like the Rapid Transcription Polymerase chain reaction which is currently being used to test for Covid-19 disease. It just need 10 minutes to give result. It is a card based test. Where the rapid antibody test is conducted using using blood sample of the suspect vis-a-vis the RT-PCR testing methodology which uses throat or nasal swabs.
